Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Anna Bryant, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut. I primarily work with young women to treat concerns such as anxiety, stress, ADHD, OCD, and difficultly navigating life transitions.

I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas.

My approach to therapy

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or navigating a big life change, you're not alone, and you're in the right place.

I work with women who are dealing with anxiety, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, and more who want practical tools to feel more in control day-to-day. In our work together, we'll build a space where you feel comfortable being honest and understood. I use evidenced based interventions and mindfulness techniques to help you manage what you're going through while also getting to know yourself on a deeper level.

I value working with women to navigate through their unique experiences and challenges, and to bring clarity and direction to the phase of life that you're in.

I aim to build a collaborative relationship with clients. You are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to foster exploration, increased insight, and practical tools and action you can take to make changes in your life. Each person is different, which means I utilize tools from a variety of evidence based approaches, such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

First sessions are focused on getting to know each other and building rapport, which is the foundation of good and effective therapy. My goal in the first session is to understand what's bringing you to therapy, and how I can best support you. We will explore various aspects of your life (childhood, relationships, family, work, etc) so I can get the most holistic and comprehensive view of who you are and what has shaped your life. The first session is a great time to ask me any questions you may have as well!
