Great to meet you!

My name is Jessie, and I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bay Path University, along with a Certificate in Advanced Trauma-Informed Counseling.

During graduate school and for nearly two years afterward, I worked in community behavioral health and served on a Trauma Response Team, where I provided crisis intervention and trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges.

I later transitioned to a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) specializing in mental health and substance use disorders. In this role, I facilitate individual and group therapy, complete comprehensive clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients throughout their recovery. In addition to my work in PHP/IOP, I provide outpatient counseling in a private practice setting, offering trauma-informed, evidence-based care to individuals working through mental health, substance use, and life stressors.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care. I believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing that each person's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship founded on trust, empathy, and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. Through this approach, I empower individuals to develop the skills, confidence, and insight needed to navigate challenges, foster resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, low-pressure first session where there is no expectation to share more than they feel comfortable with. I understand that meeting with a new therapist and opening up can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can move at your own pace. You are in control of the conversation—we can talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, or simply get to know one another. Whether you share a little or a lot, there is no right or wrong way to begin. Building trust takes time, and I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the process.
