Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Meg, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2017, and my Master of Science in Social Work from Union University in 2019. I have experience working with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds who are dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma/abuse, PTSD, domestic violence, and anger management. My goal is to offer supportive and compassionate care as you work towards creating a more purposeful and fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative and person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These methods are designed to help clients process trauma, manage emotions, and transform unhelpful thought patterns, ultimately reducing negative mental health symptoms. I also utilize Brief-Solution Focused Therapy (BSFT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in setting goals, making behavioral changes, and fostering personal growth. My aim is to create a flexible, structured space where clients feel empowered to heal and create lasting, positive change in their lives.

I’d love to connect! Please email me to discuss availability and set up a consultation or explore therapy options.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain valuable insights, practical coping strategies, and healthier thought patterns, while also experiencing a stronger sense of empowerment in overcoming challenges. Sessions are collaborative and personalized to meet each client's unique needs. My aim is to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and validated, while also being encouraged to grow and make positive changes.
