Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jessica Ceballo. I am an LMHC in NY and an LPC in NJ. I have experience working in the field for the last 10 years and working with individuals and families. I identify as a POC (person of color). I focus on the following areas: Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Relationships, Bipolar and Personalities Disorders. This has recently included social justice and exploring racism and the impact of microaggression in different communities (BIPOC, AAPI, and LGBTQ+).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on a Humanistic and Integrative approach. This usually means that the focus of therapy is really to assist the client in exploring their own resolution to their issues, is person-centered, and is underlined by a desire for growth and self-actualization.

What you can expect from me

I believe that the client and I choose each other with the understanding and commitment of exploring what the issue s/he/they/x comes in with. I believe that therapy should be a safe place and that the client should feel comfortable with discussing s/he/they/x's needs/feelings/thoughts etc. I am honest and transparent about the length and time treatment requires when it comes to goal obtainment /needs/ issues and recognizes that some goals may require more time and commitment than others.
