Great to meet you!

I am a neuroscience-informed psychotherapist, researcher, and professor. I identify as South Asian and am multilingual. As a neuroscience-informed, compassion-focused psychotherapist, I combine a variety of mind-body modalities that promote mind, brain, and body regulation. I am dedicated to meeting the unique needs of adults facing the complex demands of modern life, such as emerging identity and relationships, career and family expectations, and stress-inducing environments.

My approach to therapy

My psychotherapy's core beliefs are twofold. First, compassion and respect are the basis of positive therapy experiences. Second, the personal connection and safeness established in the therapeutic relationship are catalysts for lasting change. In partnership with patients, therapeutic care is informed by continuous learning and integrates the most recent research.

What you can expect from me

During psychotherapy sessions, individuals can anticipate receiving non-judgmental and compassionate support while processing challenging emotions and situations. Furthermore, they will acquire brain and body-based coping mechanisms that promote emotional regulation and psychological well-being.
