Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting adults through life’s challenges, transitions, and the lasting impact of generational trauma. My practice focuses on creating a safe, affirming space for Black men and women to explore their mental health without judgment. I have worked in both medical and community-based settings, which allows me to understand the unique ways mental health intersects with physical health, relationships, and daily life. I am committed to helping clients strengthen their sense of self, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help clients uncover patterns, gain clarity, and develop tools that align with their goals. I believe therapy should honor your lived experience, culture, and identity. Together, we’ll work on creating strategies that not only address immediate concerns but also support long-term healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I focus on getting to know you—your story, your strengths, and the goals you’d like to work toward. The session will feel conversational and supportive, with space for you to share openly at your own pace. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions, and collaborate with you to set realistic, personalized goals. My intention is to create a welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take the next steps in your journey.
