Great to meet you!

If anxiety, depression, or past trauma feels like a constant burden, you don’t have to carry it alone. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapy as a powerful, evidence-based approach to help you move past what’s holding you back — whether that’s past trauma, addictive patterns, or persistent emotional pain.

I hold a Masters in Marriage and Family therapy ( LMFT), my Doctorate in Social Work and specialized training in EMDR. Over my 13 years in practice, I have supported clients across a range of mental health and addiction settings — outpatient clinics, private practice, intensive treatment programs, etc.

My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and empowerment. I deeply believe in your capacity to heal and grow — even when it may feel impossible now.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and integrative. I aim to meet you where you are — mind, body, and spirit — and collaboratively tailor the therapy to your needs. EMDR is a core modality I use, especially when stuck emotional or sensory material shows up. In addition, I draw from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-centered, somatic & mindfulness techniques, and relapse prevention strategies (for addictive behaviors).

With EMDR, we work through distressing memories or patterns while orienting toward adaptive healing, allowing the brain to reprocess and reframe what once felt “frozen” or harmful. Over time, emotional charge softens and clarity, resilience, and self-compassion can emerge.

What you can expect from me

In our early sessions, we’ll explore your history, sources of distress, and internal strengths. Together we’ll identify priority targets for EMDR processing (memories, negative beliefs, triggers). Throughout, we’ll weave in stabilization, grounding, resources, and coping skills. You’ll have a safe, paced container — we move at your pace, attending to your internal regulation. The goal is not just symptom reduction, but integration, self-compassion, and wise forward movement.
