Great to meet you!

I’m a creative individual. I’m great at processing on the fly and I typically come up with specific tools for each moment. I use pattern recognition to help bring awareness to repetitive client processes in therapy sessions. I have developed this way of working with clients through varying counseling environments. I started out working in wilderness therapy, spent several years in community mental health, and have been in private practice for the last eight years. During these years I developed a keen awareness and practice of helping people develop presence in their day to day when they feel disconnected.

My approach to therapy

I tend to call myself a mindfulness based therapist. This is because I use practical tools to teach clients how to experience the most presence available to them. These tools are pulled from cognitive and somatic therapy models. They consist of strategic steps to help implement present moment awareness for when people feel or experience suffering due to disconnections.

What you can expect from me

Mostly, we will get to know each other and begin to develop an understanding of how the two of us can establish a structured plan for helping them achieve their specific goals.
