Great to meet you!

If you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, work and interpersonal challenges, or a major life transition, you do not have to figure it out alone. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who helps adults work through exactly these challenges. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I help clients better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck while developing practical skills to manage difficult thoughts and emotions and move toward a more fulfilling life. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My style is active, conversational, and goal oriented. I believe therapy works best when we develop a shared understanding of what you want to change and work together toward those goals. Sessions often involve looking closely at patterns in how you think, respond, and approach difficult situations, while identifying opportunities to try something different. I value balancing reflection and insight with action, and I encourage clients to apply what we discuss between sessions so that progress extends beyond the therapy hour.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy, what has been challenging, and what you would like to be different. We’ll discuss your experiences, strengths, and priorities and begin developing a clear sense of what you hope to accomplish through our work together. I strive to make the first session comfortable and conversational, while also giving you a sense of direction and what our work might look like moving forward. Most importantly, it’s also an opportunity for us to determine whether I’m the right therapist for you and whether my approach fits what you’re looking for.
