Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps individuals and couples work through anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life or identity transitions. My work is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when we address the deeper patterns beneath symptoms—not just learn ways to cope with them.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. My approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic therapy, allowing clients to better understand their internal world, regulate their nervous system, and build greater self-compassion.

I specialize in working with anxiety, relational stress, spiritual or identity transitions, and burnout—particularly for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others. Clients often describe my style as warm, direct, and collaborative. I aim to create a space that feels human, safe, and grounded, where meaningful growth can happen at a pace that feels right for each client.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping clients understand what’s happening beneath the surface of their struggles. Rather than only addressing symptoms, I help clients explore the underlying patterns, emotional experiences, and nervous system responses that keep them feeling stuck.

I primarily work from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic framework, which means we pay attention to both the different “parts” of a client’s inner world and how stress and emotions show up in the body. This approach helps clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion, while creating lasting change instead of short-term relief.

I tailor therapy to each individual or couple, adjusting the pace and focus based on their goals and readiness. I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship and intimacy challenges, life and identity transitions (including spiritual transitions), and burnout—especially for high-achieving or caregiving individuals who feel overwhelmed or disconnected. My style is warm, direct, and engaged, creating a space where clients feel supported, understood, and challenged in healthy ways.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where the focus is on understanding—not fixing everything right away. We’ll take time to explore what brought you to therapy, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping will change. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say; we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Rather than rushing into solutions, the first session is about creating safety and clarity. We’ll begin identifying patterns, stressors, and internal experiences that may be contributing to what you’re dealing with, and we’ll talk about goals in a way that feels realistic and supportive. Many people leave the first session feeling some relief, greater insight into what’s been happening internally, and a clearer sense of what next steps might look like.

My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and less alone with what you’re carrying. The environment I create is collaborative and human—you’re not expected to perform or have the “right” answers. The first session is about helping you feel grounded and hopeful about the process ahead, knowing that meaningful change happens over time, not all at once.
