Great to meet you!

My name is Aaron Krikorian, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade of experience providing therapy to adults. I take a nonjudgmental and supportive approach to treatment, creating a space where patients feel safe to explore and grow. I have extensive knowledge and experience in working with trauma (including complex trauma), anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, and attachment-related challenges.

My approach to therapy

I primarily practice from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective, helping patients explore and address the root causes of their struggles. My goal is to support deep, lasting change by working through underlying issues that shape current patterns and experiences. When appropriate, I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, and mindfulness practices to support the therapeutic and healing process in a holistic, individualized way.

What you can expect from me

Patients who work with me can expect a deeper exploration of the root causes of their struggles. Rather than focusing solely on surface-level symptoms, we work together to understand what’s driving those symptoms and address the underlying issues. In my experience, when we resolve what's beneath the surface, distressing patterns tend to shift more organically. This approach not only brings relief but also helps prevent the cycle from repeating, leading to more enduring and meaningful change.
