Great to meet you!

Life is hard — and most of us, at some point, find ourselves stuck between where we are and where we want to be. That gap might show up in your relationships, your sense of self, or in parts of your life that feel too complicated or too vulnerable to talk about anywhere else. That's exactly where I come in.

My name is Aaron, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Therapist based in Denver. I work with individuals and couples navigating the full range of personal and relational challenges — from anxiety, identity, and life transitions to intimacy, desire, and sexuality. I have particular expertise working with older adults and seniors on intimacy and sexual health within long-term relationships, and I'm proud to work with couples of all identities, including LGBTQ+ partners. Whatever brings you here, I'll meet you where you are.

I see clients in-person in Denver and across Colorado via telehealth. I'm in-network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS Colorado, Cigna, Select Health Colorado, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Providence Health Plan.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe therapy should feel clinical or cold. My approach is collaborative and grounded. I show up as a real person, not just a practitioner. Together, we'll work toward a life that actually feels like yours — one that's aligned with your values, your relationships, and what you genuinely desire.

My style is warm and direct. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Couples Therapy, CBT, and Narrative Therapy — adapting to what you actually need. Some people want tools. Others need to slow down and feel heard. I blend both. I take what you bring seriously, I'll be honest with you, and I'll work hard alongside you. The best therapy feels like a real conversation.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's brought you to therapy, what's been on your mind, and what you're hoping to change or better understand. There's no agenda to rush through — just an honest conversation at whatever pace feels right for you. If you're a couple, I'll make sure both of you feel like you have a voice in the room. If you're coming individually, we'll focus on what matters most to you right now. Most clients leave the first session feeling relieved they finally started.
