Great to meet you!

Are you someone who's struggling with impulsivity, social anxiety, sensory issues, or distractibility? Do you find it hard to connect with others? Do you find that you can't get out of your own head and need a lot of reassurance? Were you told that you had unlimited potential and feel like you've not lived up to that, especially with hobbies you showed great skill at? Were you a high-achiever in academics or athletics? If you identify as a man, are you struggling with romantic relationships, masculinity, self-esteem, or body image issues? I specialize in working with preteens, teens, adults, and families, particularly those who are autistic/ADHD/gifted. I pride myself on being a person who can make you laugh one moment and sit with you in your hardships with sincerity afterwards. It helps that I've experienced many of the same struggles that my clients have and know how to be present with them in ways others can't.

I know how important it is to trust the person in front of you and to build a safe connection with my clients, especially as a neurodivergent person. I don't take this career lightly, and I'm always grateful to those who put their trust in me with their loved ones. If I sound like a fit, please reach out!

My approach to therapy

I use a mix of CBT, ACT, humanistic/existential, and REBT to provide my clients with a comprehensive experience in session. So, we'll engage in exercises like cognitive challenging, acceptance of things we can't control, meaning-making, and thought-stopping. I weave these interventions into session by asking questions and incorporating a sense of humor that's meant to keep you at ease. I'm also highly relational and love building rapport with my clients. The therapeutic relationship is what I find to be the most important part of therapy.

What you can expect from me

We'll meet either in person or over telehealth for the first session to see if we vibe and discuss areas I can help you with. You have complete control of the session, going only where you feel most comfortable to go at the start. I'm just here to provide a sense of guidance as you navigate your areas of concern.
