Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Aaron, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Missouri and Wisconsin. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Davenport University.

I believe reaching out for support is a meaningful step, and you deserve care that is respectful, individualized, and grounded in who you are—not just in the challenges you are facing. I’m committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your behavioral health journey.

I’m especially passionate about working with veterans and first responders. I recognize that the experiences, responsibilities, and transitions connected to service can be complex, and I value the opportunity to support clients as they make sense of those experiences and move toward greater balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapy. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and therapy works best when we work together to identify what matters most to you and what you want to be different.

I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, concerns, and goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all solution. From there, we will develop an individualized care plan that reflects your needs and moves at a pace that feels manageable. I’ll offer structure, support, and practical tools while making room for your perspective and feedback along the way.

Whether you are working through a specific challenge, adjusting to a life transition, or simply hoping to feel more grounded, my goal is to help you feel respected, empowered, and supported throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and outline a plan for moving forward. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin—we can start wherever you are.

As we work together, you can expect a consistent space to slow down, reflect, and better understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. We’ll identify your strengths, clarify your priorities, and build strategies that are relevant to your life. My hope is that each session leaves you with greater clarity, a stronger sense of direction, and meaningful next steps you can carry with you between appointments.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will meet you where you are while supporting you toward meaningful, lasting change.
