Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with dual certification, and I believe mental health care should be both evidence-based and personalized to you.

I take a thoughtful, whole-person approach, looking beyond symptoms to understand what may be contributing underneath, including sleep, stress, lifestyle, and overall health. My goal is not just short-term relief, but helping you feel better in a way that actually lasts.

My style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and involved in your care. When medication is part of the plan, I use it intentionally and thoughtfully, never as a one-size-fits-all solution.

I work with adolescents and adults and commonly treat anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. I also enjoy helping people navigate life transitions and periods of feeling “stuck.”

Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to and that our sessions feel grounded and straightforward. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and confident in the path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe the best outcomes happen when clients feel informed, involved, and supported in their care.

I focus on understanding not only presenting symptoms, but also potential contributing factors such as sleep, stress, medical history, lifestyle, and environmental influences. This allows us to develop treatment plans that are realistic, personalized, and aligned with each client’s goals.

I take a balanced approach to psychiatric treatment, open to innovative, research-supported options when appropriate, while remaining cautious, intentional, and safety-focused. Clear communication and shared decision-making are central to how I practice.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what’s bringing you in. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant mental health and medical history, life stressors, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment.

I aim to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you can share openly at your own pace. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and make sure you feel heard and understood. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss initial impressions, possible treatment options, and next steps, so you leave with clarity and a plan moving forward.
