Great to meet you!

Each person has a story, and that story is worth hearing. It is of value, but how much more valuable is each individual who comes to therapy offering their own unique story: some dealing with the pain of abuse or relational dysfunction; others with anxiety, depression or other difficulties. Still, some are facing discrimination or questions of life direction as part of the LGBTQ community. Whatever your situation or current need, you can know that you will be treated with dignity and respect. I have worked extensively in each of these areas and look forward to meeting you and to hearing your story.

My approach to therapy

I hope that my clients will find a warm and safe space in which we can begin work together. I strive to create a solution based environment so that clients see elements of success quickly utilizing Mindfulness based therapies to maintain present centeredness and Cognitive Behavioral as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to address changes in thinking.

What you can expect from me

The decision to come to therapy is an important one and often a difficult one. It is one that I, myself, have made. I understand the angst and the emotion involved, but also the benefits that await on the other side. If you take away one thing from what you have read, please remember that no matter your circumstance, you are not alone. Let's talk about it.
