Great to meet you!

You don't have to have it figured out before our first conversation. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and the quiet weight that stress, grief, and anger can carry over time. I have a particular focus on men's mental health and the challenges that come with asking for support when you've always been expected to handle it. I've spent over a decade in non-profit work with young adults and families, college counseling, and private practice, meeting people at a wide range of starting points. My goal is to help you build a life that actually fits. If any of this resonates, I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on helping you experience hope. In practice, that might look like examining the thoughts that keep you stuck and testing whether they're really true, exploring what you actually value and why, or building concrete steps toward meaningful change. I draw from acceptance-based therapy, solution-focused work, and motivational approaches, all translated into plain conversation rather than clinical jargon. Sessions feel direct and collaborative: I will challenge you thoughtfully and support you practically, always in service of the life you want to build.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we start simple: you share what brought you in, and I listen without an agenda. We'll begin mapping what you want to feel differently and what's been getting in the way. You don't need a clean summary of your life, just a willingness to start. From there, we work together every session, adjusting as we go and building on what's already shifting. Most clients leave with something concrete: a new perspective on a situation, a small next step, or the simple relief of having said something out loud to someone who can help. That relief is real, and it's where change often begins.
