Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training from the University of Texas at Arlington. After working in the hospice field, I transitioned into trauma and grief therapy. In addition to providing care through Headway, I have experience managing my own private practice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My clinical strengths include a strong capacity for empathy and active listening, which allow me to attune closely to clients’ experiences and create a safe, validating therapeutic space. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking with my dog, and spending time connecting with family and friends.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize developing a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in trust, collaboration, and respect. I approach clinical work from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients identify their resilience and existing coping strategies as they navigate challenges. Additionally, I demonstrate clinical flexibility by adapting interventions to meet each client’s unique needs, values, and goals rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, collaborative relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, health history, and coping strategies to better understand the full picture of your experience.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. You set the pace. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll also discuss therapy goals and begin identifying practical next steps tailored to your needs.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together and what the path forward may look like.
