Great to meet you!

My work as a therapist is rooted in a deep respect for the complexity of each person’s story. While I specialize in perinatal mental health, I am equally invested in understanding the nuanced ways individuals make meaning of their experiences and how those experiences shape the way they move through the world.

I believe that connection and community are fundamental to our well-being. At the heart of my work is the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood - without pressure to immediately change or fix what they are going through. Healing often begins in the presence of someone who is willing to listen with curiosity, compassion, and respect for where you are in this moment.

My hope is to create a space where people feel safe to explore their story, deepen their understanding of themselves, and reconnect with the support and resilience that already exists within them and in the communities around them.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in genuine connection, trust, and empathy, while incorporating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I enjoy helping people recognize patterns, explore different perspectives, and develop a deeper awareness and understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the world around them.

I believe therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about making space for your story, gaining insight, and reconnecting with your own strengths and wisdom. We'll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels right for you, to explore what growth and healing might look like in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and anything you feel comfortable sharing about yourself. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and never judged. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
