Dr. Abdul Nadeem

Hi there, I'm Dr. Nadeem. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist. I was trained at Ivy League prestigious institutions, completing Psychiatry Residency at Cornell University and Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship at Brown University. Over the years, I've cared for patients across a wide range of settings including complex inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison psychiatry and since COVID as a tele-health Psychiatrist. I've also had the privilege of teaching medical students along the way, which deepened my belief that truly good psychiatric care starts with compassionate care.

I've never believed in the quick medication-check model of psychiatry, and I never will. My approach is holistic. I want to understand not just your symptoms, but your whole lifestyle, including how you're sleeping, eating, moving, connecting, and coping. I believe that compassionate, comprehensive care is the only kind worth offering, and that's what every one of my patients receives.

Before your first appointment I will send you self assessment forms and at the appointment we will be have a thorough evaluation in as much time as needed. We'll have a real conversation about who you are and not just a checklist of symptoms. By the end of our time together, you'll have a clear understanding of your diagnosis and a treatment plan we've built together with your whole wellbeing in mind.
