Great to meet you!

My name is Abera Tesfaye. I graduated from Maryville University in 2020 and has been practicing as PMHNP for the last five years. My background is working with patients who are struggling with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

You’ll find me empathetic, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I aim to understand your unique story, partner with you on solutions, and create a safe space for healing. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, but I adapt it to honor your strengths and cultural context. Most importantly, I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you in this journey

What you can expect from me

By the end of each session, the patient will feel being in a safe space to explore their mental health needs. We will always focus on the patients’ needs and create a plan together; this is a team effort. Our session will reduce anxiety, build trust, and empower clients to engage actively in their care.
