Great to meet you!

Choosing a therapist is one of the most personal decisions you’ll make, and I believe feeling genuinely understood is the foundation of meaningful change. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and have spent over a decade working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other complex mental health concerns across diverse levels of care.

My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative while remaining grounded in evidence-based treatment. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to make lasting changes that extend well beyond our sessions. My goal isn’t simply to help you cope—it’s to help you build a life that feels more connected, balanced, and aligned with who you truly are.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical. Healing isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about understanding the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that have shaped you while developing the tools to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach is collaborative and individualized because no two people experience life the same way. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to help clients better understand themselves, regulate emotions, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work with clients to create meaningful, lasting change that supports emotional well-being, healthier relationships, and a more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, judgment-free environment. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your personal history, identifying the challenges you’re currently facing, and clarifying what you hope to achieve through our work together.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. My role is to ask thoughtful questions, listen without judgment, and help you organize what may feel overwhelming. By the end of our first session, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your goals, an initial treatment plan, and confidence that you’re taking meaningful steps toward healing and growth.

I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a true partnership, and my hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and optimistic about the path ahead.
