Great to meet you!

Sometimes the impact of trauma doesn’t fully show up in words—it shows up in the body.

You might feel anxious for no clear reason, emotionally overwhelmed in relationships, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns that feel hard to change even after trying therapy before. Many people I work with have insight into their struggles but still feel like something deeper hasn’t fully shifted.

I’m Abigail, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma therapist with experience as both a clinician and clinical director in outpatient mental health settings. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and emotional distress that is often rooted in early or relational experiences.

My approach focuses on helping you not just understand your story—but actually change how it lives in your nervous system.

¡Hola y Bienvenidos!

My approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed, integrative approach that combines EMDR, somatic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based practices.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts and insight, we also pay attention to how your body holds stress, trauma responses, and emotional patterns. Many clients find that traditional talk therapy helped them understand their experiences—but didn’t fully help them feel different. My work focuses on bridging that gap.

Together, we work to process unresolved trauma, regulate the nervous system, and create a greater sense of internal safety and stability. I also incorporate body awareness and grounding practices to support healing at a deeper level.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll begin by understanding what has brought you to therapy and what patterns feel most difficult right now.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. Many clients come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated that they’ve “done the work” but still feel the effects of past experiences.

Over time, clients often notice decreased emotional reactivity, improved relationships, greater self-awareness, and a stronger sense of calm and embodiment. The goal is not just insight—it’s real, felt change in how you experience yourself and your world.

If you’ve tried therapy before but still feel like something deeper hasn’t shifted—or if you’re ready to work with trauma in a more body-centered, integrated way—I would be honored to support you in that process.
