Great to meet you!

The therapeutic relationship serves as a catalyst for understanding where we come from, and how our survival strategies and coping skills have benefitted us in the past, while also shining a light on change that would serve our growth and healing. I have worked in community mental health agencies, crisis and first responder work, Partial and Intensive out-patient addiction recovery centers, psycho-education programs and private practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a trauma informed somatic/ dance movement therapist approach is a powerful means through which to process trauma, addiction to substances and/or sex, childhood trauma, impulse behaviors, self-harming behaviors, and eating disorders. I primarily work with individuals 18 and older and offer a relational, experiential and direct approach to the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from our first session

Participating in therapy takes honesty and courage. It is a rewarding and challenging process. Befriending ourselves and allowing witnessing in our humanity through the therapeutic process is a rich teaching in and of itself.

My practice offers somatic and dance movement psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups. I also offer somatic consultation and supervision to practicing therapists.
