Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Abby, and I love supporting individuals who seem to have it all together on the outside, yet internally are navigating anxiety, overwhelm, stress, or a sense of disconnection. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning and successful in different areas of life, but beneath the surface they may be stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or patterns that no longer serve them.

My approach is warm, intentional, and deeply personalized. I believe therapy is about more than managing symptoms—it's about understanding yourself on a deeper level and creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll explore the underlying patterns shaping your experiences and work toward greater emotional clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I remain committed to continued learning and regularly engage in advanced training to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care.

I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches. I view symptoms like anxiety not as something "wrong" with you, but as meaningful signals that deserve curiosity and compassion. My goal is to help you develop a healthier and more connected relationship with yourself.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, focused, and supportive while still allowing space for deeper healing and growth. My style is warm, grounded, and conversational. I don't see therapy as something I "do to you"—it's something we build together. You are the expert on your life, your experiences, and what matters most to you. My role is to help you slow things down, make sense of what's happening internally, and gently connect the dots in ways that may not have felt clear before.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused CBT. Whether you're working through anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, chronic health concerns, or major life transitions, we'll focus on meaningful changes that support long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

When we meet for our first session, my goal is for it to feel grounding, human, and collaborative—not clinical or intimidating. We'll focus on understanding what's bringing you in, what feels most important right now, and what you're hoping to gain from therapy. There's no pressure to have the "right" words or a perfectly organized story.

I may ask about different areas of your life, including relationships, stressors, personal history, and experiences that have shaped who you are today. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and goals while creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.

Whether your goal is reducing anxiety, healing from past experiences, understanding yourself more deeply, or creating healthier patterns, we'll move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
