Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Abby, and I love supporting individuals who seem to have it all together on the outside, yet internally are navigating anxiety, overwhelm, stress, or a sense of disconnection. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning and successful in different areas of life, but beneath the surface they may feel stuck in overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or patterns that no longer serve them. I am also passionate about working with children and helping them learn emotional regulation skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, intentional, and deeply personalized. I believe therapy is about more than learning coping skills—it’s about understanding yourself on a deeper level and creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll explore the underlying patterns shaping your experiences and work toward greater emotional clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I remain committed to continued learning and regularly engage in advanced training to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care.

I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches. I view symptoms like anxiety not as something “wrong” with you, but as meaningful signals that deserve curiosity and compassion. I strive to help clients develop a healthier and more connected relationship with themselves.

What you can expect from me

When we meet for our first session, my hope is that it feels less like an interrogation and more like a real, human connection. Yes, I will ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to work on—but just as importantly, I want you to feel that you are meeting a real person on the other side of the screen or across from you, not a blank or overly clinical process.

My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I don’t see therapy as something I “do to you,” but something we build together. You are the expert on your life, your experiences, and what it has felt like to be you. My role is to help you slow things down, make sense of what’s happening internally, and gently connect the dots in ways that may not have felt clear before.
