Great to meet you!

I've worked in various roles in the counseling field for over 8 years now, clinically for 6 of those years. With a masters in professional counseling and various additional trainings in the realm of attachment science, I focus on a client's relationship with self and others as a springboard for the direction of healing. I primarily work with women, especially mothers, but I do also work with anyone 13+ and offer couples and family sessions.

My approach to therapy

My aim is to provide a peaceful and warm atmosphere whether in-person or online, creating safety and holding hope for my clients from the first session on. Although I have the licensure and clinical expertise, I firmly believe clients hold the expertise on their lived experiences and I am simply here to provide a container and sounding board to move through healing the stories they bring into the room.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I typically share the required information on mandated reporting and explain my approach to counseling, then I offer the options of leaving the floor to the client, asking questions about their background and life, or going over specific information shared in the intake documents. I also often ask toward the end of the session what goals the client is hoping to achieve in their time in counseling.
