Great to meet you!

I received my Master's Degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. I provided community-based mental healthcare and school-based mental healthcare before beginning my practice. I enjoy working with young people and adults to identify goals, harness strengths, and manage barriers to success.

My approach to therapy

I have worked with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and those with depressive, anxious, and trauma-related symptoms. I acknowledge that treatment of these challenges is not "one size fits all", and pride myself on my experience working with folks in the LGBTQIA2S+ community and those with different health conditions and ability statuses. I utilize tools and techniques associated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a great place to gain insight into your behaviors and process feelings. My aim is to help you use this internal growth to identify a strategy, tool, or practice to take away at the end of each session. I look forward to providing a safe and affirming space to assist you with navigating challenges and celebrating the accomplishments of life!
