Dr. Abigail Wilson

Hello! As a Licensed Clinical Therapist, I strive to reduce stigma and barriers to mental health services. I hold a Doctorate from Millersville University. My Master's Degree in Social Work is from the University of Pennsylvania and I received my Bachelors degree from Lock Haven University. Professionally I have worked in clinical settings, public policy and advocacy, and education. I specialize in work with children and adolescents in areas of grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and more!

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
