Working in community mental health has given me the opportunity to support clients with a variety of issues, ranging from anxiety/depression to more severe issues. It has taught me that one of the biggest connectors for us all is the drive to be better. For me, an ideal client would be someone who has a desire to change and a willingness to be better for themselves and their community.
I offer a humanistic, intersectional approach to therapy. I like to collaborate and work with clients on exploring the underlying factors that play a role in their issues and identify strategies to improve their day-to-day.
During the first session, I like to not only get to know what brings you in but also get to know more about you; your background, what your go-to activity to destress, who do you call when you need a laugh/support. Finding the right fit is equally as important as figuring out treatment options
