Great to meet you!

"Life-long learners seek the mantle of knowledge rejecting the sheltered state of knowing." This was a quote I devised several years ago, and it has since become a cornerstone of my therapeutic philosophy. I welcome those I work with to share in the commitment to continual learning and embracing the deeper, transformative work of self-discovery.

Having been directly involved in over 300 interactions with people actively experiencing a mental health crisis as part of a co-responder crisis response team, I understand the power of patience and self-compassion. If you feel confused about your place in emotionality at this particular moment in time, I believe you are capable of self-understanding.

The very fact that you have read this far shows a dedication to self that should be celebrated and honored.

Therapy is challenging on purpose. Let's take the opportunity to think beyond the confines of the walls built from your experiences, and venture onward along the journey toward wellness.

My approach to therapy

I ground my therapeutic work in unconditional positive regard, honoring the full spectrum of human experience. I use an integrative approach, meaningfully drawing from several evidence-based schools of therapy that best align with your lived experiences and cultural foundations. I consider myself a passenger on your journey; we collaborate along the way to approach the dynamics of life sensitively and comprehensively

What you can expect from me

We are meeting each other for the first time! I want to get to know you and answer questions you have about me. I am a firm believer that the therapeutic relationship requires comfort and trust. I am hopeful that will come with openness and transparency from both of us, creating the space through which we develop a plan to achieve the goals you have for your wellness!
