Great to meet you!

With a unique background as a male, BIPOC, and first-generation college graduate from East Texas, I possess deep empathy and understanding of overcoming challenges. Having lived in various cities, I bring a valuable perspective on transitioning from rural to urban life. My 20+ years of experience working in companies of different sizes, coupled with my teaching experience inside TDCJ, have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of various environments.

My approach to therapy

"Y'all" means "All" in my best Texan drawl. The clients who would benefit most from my therapy services range from first-timers to those experienced in heavy lifting. Think of me as your spotter and partner, helping you with the heavy lifting. These clients often need a partner like me to make sense of their challenges. Their goals vary and include addressing life concerns and setting collaborative care goals, often related to life, cultural, and family issues.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away a deeper understanding of themselves, their challenges, and their strengths. Through our sessions, my hope is they will gain new coping strategies, improved life skills, and a sense of empowerment. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, validated, and encouraged to make positive changes in their lives.
