Great to meet you!

Hi, y'all,

I bring 17 years of experience and believe firmly that nothing shifts in the therapeutic space unless clients feel seen and connected to their clinician.

I am warm and direct, personable and challenging. I move through my life with curiosity and wonder at the natural world and the power of relationships.

I love swimming in fresh water, non-fiction books, spending time with my teenagers and hanging out in my gardens. I specialize in sexual and gender identity and look forward to building relationships with people that are motivated to move forward, begin healing and expanding their world.

My approach to therapy

I have a warm and personable approach to therapy. I can be direct and challenging when I trust the client feels safe enough to make real changes. I am comfortable with silence and strive to always meet clients where they are.

I believe in the power of humor and vulnerability, in creative solutions and slow and steady growth.

What you can expect from me

During first sessions I joke that I am asking the questions but I am the one being interviewed! Clients need to feel a sense of connection if therapy is going to be effective and I never assume that I will be the best fit for everyone I meet with.

I am most interested in getting a snapshot of what is bringing client into therapy, any treatment experiences they may have had in the past and what they hope to gain from their time with me moving forward.
