Great to meet you!

Born out of the desire to “empower and impact others with the truth of God’s Word,” Adair spent a number of years serving within the faith community as a lay counselor and state social worker. During this same season of helping others, Adair began her own journey into therapy; and became intimately aware of the stigma associated with mental health and counseling within the faith and BIPOC communities..

My approach to therapy

Adair believes that there are three keys to effective counseling: 1) clarify the goals for counseling, 2) identify internal resources and 3) outline the steps to help achieve those goals. Most of these resources will be drawn from your own gifts and will focus on deepening the understanding of self and building on your strengths. Lastly you will explore any underlying issues that may be preventing you from thriving in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

Adair’s goal is to help you leave therapy with greater self-awareness and if applicable, understanding of God’s purpose in your life.
