Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Adam. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville, and I’ve spent my entire career in private practice over the past five years. My work focuses on helping people heal from trauma, and I’m trained in EMDR. I also work frequently with substance use concerns, depression, and anxiety.

My approach to therapy

I foster a warm, relaxed environment built on unconditional positive regard. My style is goal-focused but never rushed—I want you to feel safe, understood, and grounded as we work together. I use EMDR to help get to the root causes of unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and patterns, so you can move toward real and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

n our first session, my goal is to build a strong, trusting rapport and create a sense of safety. I’ll spend time getting to know you—your life, your experiences, and what you’d like to work on. This also gives you space to ask any questions about me or my approach so we can start building an organic, comfortable working relationship. My aim is for you to leave that first session feeling understood, grounded, and clear about our path forward.
