I have been a psychiatrist in private practice for 23 years. I believe everyone deserves to be understood. I seek to understand each patient as an individual human being to be able to accurately diagnose mental illness, and deliver the most effective care.
I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors focusing on all aspects of general psychiatry including: mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorder like PTSD, OCD, and Panic disorder; psychotic disorders like schizophrenia; substance abuse disorders and addiction; and cognitive disorders like ADHD, Tourette's Syndrome.
In the initial psychiatric evaluation, we have an extensive conversation about you. We discuss your background, your psychiatric and medical history, and your symptoms. This way we can accurately diagnose your problems. Then we can formulate a plan of care to improve your quality of live, and relieve suffering.
