Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for individuals and couples in Wisconsin, with both in-person sessions in Madison and virtual options statewide. My work focuses primarily on anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, and feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit.

My background includes trauma-informed care, mental health and substance use treatment, and work with high-stress populations. I draw from structured, evidence-based approaches like CBT and ACT while keeping therapy collaborative and human. I believe relief from anxiety is often the bridge to clearer thinking and more intentional living.

In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve navigated my own identity shifts — including time as a stay-at-home parent — which deepened my understanding of caregiving, pressure, and personal change. I aim to create a grounded, engaged space where you feel understood, validated, and capable of moving forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both structure and honest conversation. I believe therapy should move at your pace and center your goals. We often begin by building clarity — using practical tools like CBT to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and reactions in real time. As anxiety becomes more manageable, we explore deeper patterns, values, and the path that led you here.

I draw from CBT, ACT, and relational work to help you move from reactivity to intentional action. You can expect steady guidance, real dialogue, and a space where you feel understood and validated as you move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a steady, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what’s really going on. We’ll clarify what brought you in and begin identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I often introduce simple, structured ways to understand your thoughts and reactions so things start to feel less overwhelming and more manageable.

You won’t be rushed or analyzed. This is a collaborative conversation focused on your goals. My aim is for you to leave feeling understood, validated, and clearer about the path forward.
