Great to meet you!

Hello, if you are looking for a therapist passionate about leveraging clinical information, creating awareness, bolstering empowerment, and honing a client's ability to change, then I am the therapist you have been looking for.

I am a disabled combat veteran that understands the active duty, retiree, and veterans struggles with PTSD, trauma, and adjustment concerns in life during and post military service, I am a husband, father, and dedicated family member who has experienced grief and loss and is empowered to help clients process grief and trauma positively and efficiently; and I am a curious learner dedicated to understanding how evidence based research shapes the evidence based practice I utilize everyday with clients.

Being firm but fair, driven and flexible, and compassionate when working with individuals, couples, and families is what gives me purpose as a licensed clinical social worker. I look forward to working with you. I am well versed with clients 6 y/o up to 100, and focused on taking into account all that encompasses clients seeking change and fulfillment in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I am a firm believer in walking with the client on their journey by providing information around barriers in their life; information is a bridge leading to awareness. When a client is ready, they can take the next step to embrace empowerment. By increasing the client's confidence and trust in themselves and their willingness to progress, then change is fully realized.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be welcomed to the start of the next chapter in their life; my role in their first session is to set realistic expectations to drive change in their life. I am very dedicated to build rapport, gather the needed details, and to show the client the benefit of them being their own best expert in their life.
