Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a broad clinical background in treating substance use disorders, mood disorders, trauma related disorders/experiences and co-occurring mental health conditions that may not fall so neatly into a diagnosis. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology and have most of my professional experience within forensic and outpatient settings.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is grounded in primarily in existential theory and cognitive behavior therapy, while recognizing that every person's experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can share your story at your own pace, without feeling confined to a specific narrative or expectation. Together, we'll work toward meaningful, personalized goals, building practical skills, increasing insight, and creating lasting change that fits your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your strengths and challenges, and identify the goals that are most meaningful to you. Together, we'll create a personalized plan that reflects your needs and sets the foundation for a collaborative, supportive, and goal-focused therapeutic journey.
