Great to meet you!

Addison has worked with teens and neurodivergent youth and adults for almost 20 years in settings ranging from art education to wilderness therapy to residential treatment. She has helped couples and individuals of all ages and backgrounds struggling with a variety of issues from attachment wounding, trauma, relationship ruptures and failed attempts to navigate complex family dynamics. The hope: to establish a safe space for clients to do the work and find their footing in a complex world.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Using a strengths-based lens and an embodied approach, we will work together to establish and meet goals, while finding a path towards wellness. Therapy is a collaborative process that requires a sense of connection between the clinician and the client. I work hard to establish a unique relationship with each individual client that is based on trust, transparency, and evidence based practices coupled with creative solution-focused thinking.

What you can expect from our first session

Change is an unfolding process that requires awareness, support, creativity, and acceptance of each individual’s personal challenges. Learning to appreciate our attachment blueprints, how to work with the wisdom of our bodies, communicate effectively, take perspective, establish and respect boundaries, and use our missteps and strengths as a learning opportunity are part of the path toward success. The most powerful transformations take place not in isolation, but in relationship to one another.
