Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Adebayo Adebowale, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in evidence-based, compassionate mental healthcare. I earned my advanced nursing degree with a focus on psychiatry and have experience treating clients across the lifespan—from adolescents to older adults—struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mood and behavioral challenges.

My approach to care is client-centered and holistic. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships, empowering my clients with education, and collaborating to create a treatment plan that aligns with their goals. I specialize in medication management and supportive therapy, and I have a particular interest in working with clients who are navigating life transitions, stress, and trauma.

Whether we meet virtually or in person, my priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and environment—rather than just the symptoms. When working with clients, I begin by building a strong therapeutic alliance rooted in empathy, trust, and open communication. I take time to listen, understand your unique story, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals.

I focus on evidence-based practices, combining medication management with supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and education. My clinical decision-making is rooted in shared decision-making, where you are actively involved in the direction of your care.

Ultimately, I aim to empower you with the tools, support, and knowledge needed to improve your mental well-being and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away clarity, support, and a personalized path forward from our sessions. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and affirming space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we’ll work on identifying the root causes of your symptoms, setting realistic goals, and developing practical strategies for lasting change.

By the end of each session, you’ll leave with a better understanding of your mental health, a clear treatment direction, and a sense of partnership in your journey. Whether we're managing medication, addressing thought patterns, or improving coping skills, I strive to help you build resilience, restore balance, and gain the confidence needed to thrive.
