Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Adedayo, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience including experienced across medical-surgical, skilled nursing, inpatient psychiatric care, and addiction medicine settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston and my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health from South College in Tennessee.

I specialize in treating adults ages 18–65 experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, substance use concerns, and other chronic mental health conditions. I have a strong passion for supporting individuals navigating life transitions, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. My approach integrates comprehensive psychiatric assessment, personalized medication management, and brief therapeutic interventions to provide holistic, evidence-based care.

I believe mental health treatment should feel collaborative, respectful, and empowering. My goal is to create a safe, stigma-free space where you feel heard and supported. I value shared decision-making, open communication, and individualized care plans that reflect your unique needs and strengths.

Above all, I am committed to helping you build resilience, restore balance, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, client-centered, and holistic. I believe that treatment works best when we work together as a team. I take time to really understand your story — not just your symptoms — including your strengths, stressors, lifestyle, and goals.

I combine comprehensive psychiatric assessment and medication management with supportive therapy and practical coping strategies. If medication is part of your treatment plan, I focus on thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing and ongoing education so you feel informed and comfortable with every decision. I also integrate brief therapeutic interventions during our sessions to help you build tools for managing anxiety, mood changes, trauma responses, or life transitions.

I value open communication and shared decision-making. You can expect a space where your concerns are taken seriously, your questions are welcomed, and your treatment plan is individualized to fit your needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and capable of creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free space where we focus on getting to know you. My priority is helping you feel comfortable and heard. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will be different.

I’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, which includes discussing your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatments. This helps me understand the full picture so we can create a thoughtful, individualized plan.

We’ll also begin identifying clear, realistic goals — whether that’s reducing anxiety, stabilizing mood, improving focus, processing trauma, or navigating a life transition. If medication is being considered, I’ll provide education and answer all your questions so you feel confident in the plan.

By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel understood, supported, and hopeful — with a clearer direction for next steps and a collaborative plan tailored specifically to you.
