Great to meet you!

Some seasons of life ask more of us than we ever expected to give. You may be caring for aging parents, grieving the loss of someone important, navigating health concerns, adjusting to retirement, carrying responsibilities for everyone around you, or simply feeling exhausted from holding so much for so long. Others come to therapy after years of putting their own needs aside and realizing they no longer recognize themselves in the process.

With more than 42 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive space where adults and older adults can feel heard, understood, and respected. Together, we'll explore what may be contributing to your stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions while building practical tools that support healing, resilience, and renewed confidence moving forward. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking meaningful support and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the person sitting across from me, not simply focused on a diagnosis or list of symptoms. Every individual brings a lifetime of experiences, relationships, strengths, losses, and challenges into therapy, and my role is to understand the full picture while helping you move toward the life you want to create.

My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches. Whether you're navigating grief, caregiving stress, chronic health concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, or major life transitions, we'll focus on practical strategies that support emotional wellness and meaningful long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar, especially if you're used to handling things on your own or putting others' needs before your own. During our first sessions, we'll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope life looks like moving forward.

You can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support in a space where your experiences are respected and your goals matter. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create realistic goals that help you feel more grounded, emotionally balanced, and confident navigating whatever season of life you're in.
