Great to meet you!

PLEASE CONNECT WITH THE PROVIDER TO SCHEDULE FOR A TIME THAT’S MORE CONVENIENT FOR YOU.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, mood changes, difficulty focusing, or the weight of past experiences, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I’m Adelma Reyes, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 20 years of experience working with adults. I support people navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns.

I believe therapy is a space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s been weighing on you, make sense of patterns that may be holding you back, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling clearer, stronger, and more connected to yourself. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a partnership. My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative, while also giving you direction and tools that you can use in your daily life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed skills, but I always tailor our work to you—your experiences, your goals, and what feels most helpful.

We’ll work together to better understand what you’re going through, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and build skills to manage emotions, reduce stress, and move forward with more confidence. I want you to feel empowered and actively involved in your own growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is simply a chance for us to connect. I’ll create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can share what’s been going on at your own pace.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. You’re also welcome to ask me anything—this is about making sure you feel comfortable, too.

By the end of the session, we’ll start to get a sense of your goals and what working together could look like, so you can leave feeling supported, understood, and a little more hopeful about what’s ahead.
