Great to meet you!

I am a transmasculine, neurodivergent clinical psychologist licensed in the state of New York. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center and my postdoctoral fellowship at Cornell University, and currently work at Cornell as a therapist and the LGBTQ community liaison. I specialize in providing gender affirming care as well as working with the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. Additionally, I have training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I am also a Certified Partner for Perinatal Excellence and a Certified Therapeutic Game Master. I offer experience in multiple modalities, giving me the ability to support each client's unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the core driver of therapeutic change. This relationship is inherently collaborative and based in trust and understanding. It's important to me that clients feel safe and supported during sessions. I meet clients where they are, adjusting my approach, meaning that each person's treatment is unique. While I have a strong foundation in classic therapy modalities and often follow an integrative or narrative approach, I am always willing to explore more unique options, like Geek therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session, admittedly, consists of a lot of questions and curiosity. I view this session as having three main goals: getting a good sense of what is bringing you to therapy, starting to think about treatment and interventions, and getting to know you as a person. I aim to provide a warm and relaxed environment to build connection and facilitate the growth of a positive therapeutic relationship.
