Great to meet you!

What I want my clients to know is that therapy with me is not just about talking through problems—it's about creating meaningful change. I provide a supportive and compassionate environment, but I will also challenge you when needed. Growth often requires us to examine patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may no longer serve us, and I will help you do so in a way that feels productive and empowering.

I believe in helping clients move beyond insight and into action. Together, we will identify practical tools and strategies that you can actually use in your everyday life to manage stress, improve relationships, strengthen boundaries, regulate emotions, and navigate difficult situations with greater confidence.

My goal is to empower you to become your own advocate, trust yourself more fully, and develop the skills needed to handle future challenges long after therapy ends. I will support you, challenge you, encourage accountability, and celebrate your progress along the way. Therapy is a partnership, and I am committed to helping you move from surviving to thriving.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) serving as my primary treatment modality. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. Because therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.

Using a CBT framework, I help clients identify the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. I work from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients build on their resilience while learning practical tools to navigate challenges and create lasting change. Together, we explore how past experiences may be influencing present-day struggles and develop strategies that support emotional well-being and personal growth.

I specialize in working with individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse, relationship trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and boundary-related challenges. Many of my clients have experienced emotional manipulation, chronic self-doubt, or unhealthy relationship dynamics. My goal is to help them gain clarity, rebuild confidence, strengthen their sense of self, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

While CBT is my primary approach, I also integrate trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused strategies when appropriate. This allows me to address both current symptoms and the underlying experiences that may contribute to emotional distress.

I view therapy as a partnership. While I bring clinical expertise and evidence-based interventions, you are the expert on your own life. Together, we work toward meaningful goals, increased self-awareness, emotional healing, and a greater sense of empowerment.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns at your own pace.

During our first session, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I will ask questions about your personal history, relationships, emotional well-being, and any significant life experiences that may be impacting you today. This helps me develop a deeper understanding of your unique situation and identify the best path forward.

You can also expect us to explore your goals for therapy. Whether you are seeking healing from narcissistic abuse, working through anxiety or depression, navigating a life transition, improving relationships, or strengthening self-esteem, we will begin identifying specific areas of focus and creating a plan that aligns with your needs and priorities.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so there is no pressure to share everything at once. The first session is as much about helping you determine whether I am a good fit for you as it is about gathering information. I welcome questions and encourage open communication throughout the process.

By the end of the session, clients often leave with a clearer understanding of their concerns, a sense of direction for treatment, and the reassurance that they have a supportive space dedicated to their growth and healing. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
