Great to meet you!

I am a doctoral level trained clinical psychologist with a PsyD in counseling and am an LPC and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have extensive experience working with diverse adolescent and adult populations. I have training and expertise in EMDR, CBT, and DBT. I have worked in community mental health, inpatient, adolescent forensic, and private practice settings and have extensive training in diagnostic and clinical assessments. My education, training, and clinical practices have highlighted multicultural and diversity issues, and I continue to practice in consideration of cultural issues/needs when evaluating, assessing, and providing services to clients.

My approach to therapy

I meet people where they are and create a trusting relationship to allow people to heal from trauma and end emotional suffering. I treat each client as an individual, but work within a consistent framework. I use an integrative approach to treatment planning, including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and environmental/family systems interventions.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, thoughtful, non-judgmental and supportive space where we take time to explore your past and present experiences. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. We'll work to make sense of your challenges and identify meaningful ways forward. I will help you better understand the way your past experiences—especially those that may have been overwhelming or painful—can shape how you feel, relate, and navigate the present. I believe healing happens through understanding and relationship. We'll work at your pace, building safety and trust, while gently uncovering patterns that may no longer serve you. I will listen closely—not just to what you say, but to how you experience things emotionally and relationally. My role is to support you in making sense of your story, reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside, and helping you move toward a more grounded, authentic way of being.
