Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Adia, a licensed therapist in Georgia who works with adults in navigating life’s challenging moments. With a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and over eleven years of experience, I blend evidence-based techniques with a warm, collaborative style that helps you to feel heard and supported, never judged.

My approach to therapy

My passion is to work with clients who are facing anxiety, infertility, and/or the general stresses of life. Over the course of our time together, you’ll set goals that are meaningful to you, we’ll identify and address any roadblocks along the way, and co-create practical strategies that lead to lasting change and personal growth. I utilize an approach that examines beliefs or perspectives that keep you stuck, helps in understanding the actions that flow from those thoughts, and in creating a new dialogue that keeps you heading in a positive direction. Because therapy is not a “one size fits all”, I also use other clinically proven methods to help you reach your finish line. At the end of our time together, I want you to leave feeling empowered, prepared, and confident in your abilities to manage what may come your way.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take some time to get to know one another. I will ask questions about your background and previous therapy experiences, if applicable. We will also talk about what brings you to counseling today, establish goal(s), and a workable outline for how to reach them. Once we have our roadmap, we can jump in and move at a pace that feels comfortable to you. This is a great time to ask me any questions that you may have about the process, my background, and to share any concerns or hesitations you may have.
