Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Adina. When life feels overwhelming, you may find yourself managing responsibilities while struggling to make space for your own needs. I work with adults navigating stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal or professional pressures. As a therapist with a background in behavioral health and leadership, I appreciate how much can remain unseen behind someone’s day-to-day responsibilities. I offer a warm, respectful space where you can speak openly without judgment. Together, we will clarify what matters to you, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates Gestalt, cognitive behavioral (CBT), solution-focused, and humanistic therapies, informed by experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment. In sessions, we use CBT to examine unhelpful thought patterns and develop more effective responses. Gestalt techniques deepen awareness of present emotions and experiences, while solution-focused work identifies strengths, existing successes, and practical steps toward your goals. A humanistic foundation ensures that our work respects your perspective, values, and choices. When addressing substance use, we explore triggers, patterns, and coping strategies that support recovery. These methods are tailored to your needs, with an emphasis on insight, practical application, and meaningful progress.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be a guided conversation about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to accomplish. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, explain how we will work together, and review confidentiality. You will have time to ask questions and share what is most important to you. It is natural to feel uncertain before starting therapy—you do not need to prepare a perfect explanation or share everything at once. You decide what you are comfortable discussing, and together we will establish initial goals and next steps.
