Dr. Adisa Alghali-Ano is licensed by the State of New Jersey and the District Of Columbia as a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a recognized Nationally Certified Counselor. Dr. Adisa earned her BA in Psychology and her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. She furthered her education and earned her Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She holds 15+ years of experience in the field. Mental wellness for all is her passion!

My approach to therapy

Dr. Adisa is a Counseling Psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy. She is on the certification track to become a Certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist. She has completed Level 1, Level 2, & Level 3 Practicum Training and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her therapy work. By engaging in a warm therapeutic relationship, she helps her clients to better understand their life circumstances, develop their unique strengths, and move towards living a more emotionally fulfilling and satisfying life. She offers short-term, focused treatment as well as long-term insight oriented psychotherapy.

Dr. Adisa works collaboratively with clients of all ages to help them feel understood, supported and appreciated throughout the therapeutic process. She believes that everyone deserves therapy and is an advocate for mental and emotional wellness.
